Client: House of Saigon

House of Saigon is a stall in Ateneo de Manila’s JSEC area (which is basically a small outdoor cafeteria.)  It serves vietnamese food.  They asked for a logo which incorporated a straw hat, and a color palette of lime green and yellow - here’s what I came up with:

I was also asked to design the menus.  They’re basically huge tarps that are placed in front of the store:

Client: Chicken Charlie

Chicken Charlie is a restaurant that serves a unique kind of fried chicken - It’s really crunchy and it’s covered with a light soy garlic sauce.  I’ve been asked to create the logo and promotional collaterals for this new restaurant.

The client wanted to have a simple logo (maybe 1 or 2 colors.)  After several studies the client finally decided to go with this:

Chicken Charlie Logo

Along with this I was also asked to create the menu, and the in store graphics:

Finally the flyer and the box the chicken comes in if you want to take it out.

Please do check out/visit the restaurant! It’s in Banawe corner N.S. Amoranto, I guarantee that the food there is great.

Here is what another blogger thinks about Chicken Charlie:

Client: Gingerade

I think I’ve posted the redesign of the logo before.  Anyway, I’ve been asked to redesign the packaging and logo of Gingerade - It is an instant ginger tea mix (salabat) which has variations (coffee mix, etc.)

The purpose of the redesign was to make it look more appropriate for the target market (which was, on the go office workers, specifically call center agents.) So, the product has to look a bit more refined and of quality.

This was how the sachet looked before. Above is the full color sachet, and below is the three color version:

And this is my redesign, above is the full colored one, and below is the three colored version:

EDIT: The logo on the 3 color package I made was an older version of the logo, which I had to change because I realized that it looked too similar to the San Miguel Coffee logo. haha.
